Sometimes when we go geocaching as a family we don't find the cache we're looking for. Sometimes we find a dinky little tuperware where the people who found it before us must have taken something, but left nothing. Sometimes it's a little diappointing. But, I know that our favorite things about geocaching aren't things. Its the places we've found that we never would have searched out without having the GPS to direct us. Once we even stayed overnight at a campground because it was near a cache. We were blessed with some beautiful views because of it. But the cache - the cache was nothing - it was only a means to an end. When we sign such a log book, we usually write "TNLN" but that isn't really true. In reality, we never leave our adventures without taking 'something' with us. Cache on!
